Hobbies: Hanging out with friends and traveling.
Extracurriculars: A member of Beta Psi Omega
Interesting fact: I danced for 15 years growing up.
Favorites: My favorite season is summer, but my favorite holiday is Christmas.
Friends you have made at WVU: I have met some of my best friends at WVU along with many other friends in my major that have helped me succeed in classes.
Interests outside of major: Outside of my major, I have a minor in child development and family studies. I plan on working at a children’s hospital one day due to my love for kids.

What is your favorite place on campus?
- My favorite place on campus is the Life Sciences Building.

What is your most memorable moment?
- My most memorable moment at WVU is football game days. The environment and experience will always make WVU special to me.

What is your favorite class and why?
- My favorite class is biochemistry. I have always loved chemistry and biology, so being able to learn how they combine to serve your body is very interesting to me.

What experience or class has taught you the most so far?
- The experience that has taught me the most is being a UTA for Dr. Barry. This experience has allowed me to go out of my comfort zone, helped me exceed in my own classes by looking at different perspectives, and learn how to deepen my understanding of topics.

Why did you choose WVU?
- I chose WVU due to all of the academic, extracurriculars, and activities offered.

What advice would you give your freshman self?
- Advice I would give to my freshman self is to never say no to opportunities. As a freshman, I was shy and quiet which resulted in me not being involved in many things until later years.

Why did you choose to come to WVU?
- I chose to come to WVU because my best friends from high school and I all decided to take on the adventure of moving out of our hometown for the adventure and academic opportunities.

- While at WVU, I have learned that it is important to stand out from others. Always taking the extra step on assignments or opportunities only creates a better experience for you.

What are your favorite things about being in this major?
- My favorite thing about being a biology major is the varying classes offered based on what you are interested in. Biology electives offered are very helpful when trying to pick a future career.

What is the most interesting thing about your major?
- I think the most interesting thing about my major is all the UTAs each class has. It is a tremendous help and is also a good opportunity if you are asked to be one.

How have your professors and/or staff helped you be successful?
- The thing I find most helpful from professors are fast email replies and being available in office hours for questions.

What skills and/or knowledge have you gained that you feel will help you be successful
in your future career?
- I have learned active listening skills throughout college which will be very helpful in my future career.

What are your career goals?
- I plan on becoming a pediatric clinical pharmacist.

What has been your favorite class so far and why?
- My favorite class so far has been immunology. I find the topic very interesting, and it is fun to learn about newcoming studies such as immunology.

Ask about the most interesting/mind blowing thing they have learned so far that
is related to their major.
- In immunology, I learned that people are attracted to others with diverse MHCs compared to their own which avoids inbreeding and leads to a greater immunity in offspring!
