Friends you have made at WVU: I have met so many cool people and I love the friends I have made here despite worries I had before coming.

Interests outside of your major: I like to craft, watch anime, weight lift, rollerblade, rock climb, bake, and be “out and about.”

  • What is your favorite place on campus?
    • The Life Sciences Building
  • What is your most memorable moment?
    • Crying while trying not to laugh as my physics lab TA made an announcement that we should use weights lighter than 15 grams while I was actively using one that was 250 grams.
  • What is your favorite class and why?
    • Chemistry because I enjoy doing it when I know what’s going on.
  • What experience or class has taught you the most so far?
    • Bio 219 with Dr. Dana Huebert Lima.
  • What advice would you give your freshman self?
    • Classes get more challenging but better
  • Why did you choose to come to WVU?
    • I am from WV and it felt the best out of the in-state programs.
  • Share something you have learned during your time at WVU.
    • The professors you have can make or break your perception of a subject.
  • What are your favorite things about being in this major?
    • The professors that I have had.
  • What is the most interesting thing about your major?
    • Getting to have classes that overlap despite being different subjects (Biology and Physics).
  • Why did you want to pursue this major?
    • It was the least math heavy stem that I could use to prepare for medical school.
  • How have your professors and/or staff helped you be successful?
    • They have been very helpful in answering whatever questions I have and have taught with an energy that they enjoy what they do which made me more engaged.
  • What skills and/or knowledge have you gained that you feel will help you be successful in your future career?
    • Biology and Chemistry for the medical school preparation and physics 102.
  • What are your career goals?
    • Psychiatry 
  • What has been your favorite class so far and why?
    • Biology 219 with Dr. Dana Huebert Lima , she is an outstanding teacher and even though it was hard at times, I learned so much and it was the reason I was less stressed to take future Biology classes
  • Ask about the most interesting/mind blowing thing they have learned so far that is related to their major.
    • The only difference between Methamphetamine and Vics is a chiral center.
