Role: MS Student,
My research is about how cerebral feedback affects the ability of the weakly electric fish, Apteronotus leptorhynchus, to decode spatial information on other conspecifics. I perform neuron recordings on pyramidal cells in the electrosensory lateral line lobe (ELL) before and after blocking feedback. I am also using Matlab to analyze the data to determine the percentage of cancellation that occurs with and without feedback.
