Zach Fowler, Ph.D.
Service Associate Professor, Director of the Arboretum
I am responsible for directing WVU Core Arboretum. The Arboretum is a 100+ acre outdoor facility with over 3 miles of trails and a woodland amphitheater. The Arboretum encompasses a true arboretum, old-growth forest preserve, public greenspace, educational outreach facility, and University resource for research, teaching, and service. My work is made possible by the help of lots of volunteers from within the University and community.
I also teach plant classes in the WVU Department of Biology. The current classes that I am teaching are Plant Ecology and Flora of West Virginia.
