Amaris Guardiola, Ph.D.
Teaching Associate Professor
Dr. Guardiola’s teaching and research interests include designing advising and learning environments that acknowledge students’ diverse backgrounds and experiences with the goal of helping students complete their degrees in a timely manner. She currently teaches Principles of Biology (BIOL 115) and Introduction to Physiology (117). She looks forward to developing courses that will help students develop skills that will help them apply their knowledge of biology to solve contemporary and emerging issues.
