Kaleb Hatch

Understanding how sensory systems interface with motor systems to disambiguate self-generated from external stimuli is critical in maintaining sensory acuity and shaping behavior. I seek to understand the function of a pair of neurons that relay information about behavior that produces sound from motor to auditory processing centers in the brain of Drosophila melanogaster and how they effect behavior.
