Research Interest
I study the differential modulation of the Drosophila auditory system by the co-transmission of histamine and neuropeptide. I specialize in live imaging of auditory afferent activity during sound bouts with drug application and mRNA labeling in the Drosophila central nervous system and antenna. My work aims to establish a link between timescale dependent behavior and the usage of fast and slow neurotransmitters by sensorimotor circuits.
